Upon returning from training, Fury was stunned to find Margot gone. He ran to his room, and in her place was only a Post-it note. He had known she planned to confront Ethan alone, but he'd hoped she would at least wait for him.
With a little over an hour before he had to leave for work, Fury and his wolf restlessly paced the townhouse, waiting for a word from Margot. He had texted and called her multiple times, only to realize she had left her phone and purse behind.
