Chapter 17
“You what?” Tori was stunned. After finding Margot a crying mess in the parking lot of the club, she took her back to the dancers’ dressing room. Luckily, she was on break, and the other bartender was tending to the patrons. Margot explained everything to Tori, who was utterly speechless at the mistake Margot had made.
“I feel so stupid. I ruined our first kiss. The kiss he gave me was because he didn’t want to kill that she-wolf who tried to roofie him,” Margot sniffled.
“Why did that i***t pop into your head?” Tori asked.
“I don’t know. I honestly don’t know. I knew it wasn’t him, but I think a part of me wanted it to be,” Margot confessed.
“Oh, god, Maggie,” Tori sighed and shook her head.
“Tori, what do I do? What if he decides that I’m not worth it?”
