“If you’re only an authorized signer, it means you’re able to use the funds in any capacity, like writing checks, debit card, and even withdrawals; however, you can’t remove an owner of the account or close it,” Dorian explained.

“But it does mean that if Ethan is an owner and she’s only a signer, he can block her from having access or remove her altogether,” Allie added.
