Margot sat in her room and stared at the burner phone Fury had bought for her when they were at Downtown Summerlin. Because her main phone was linked to an account under Ethan’s name, she didn’t want Ethan to discover her secret plan to date Fury quietly. She sent one text to Ethan, telling him she wasn’t in the mood for his apology or to put up with his attitude when he started the fight. She only did this because Fury gave her the courage to speak up.
Before leaving the mall that day, Margot confided in Fury about her fight with Ethan a few weeks earlier, and to say that Fury was furious was an understatement.
