"Actually dear, Derek and I will be handling some of the work while you hang out with Macy for a bit." My dad said. My mom shot him a glare, but I knew what he meant.
"Fine, I will stay here in the office and do some hacking while you two" My mom points to my dad and I. "go to the basement. And Macy will stay with me." My mom than looks to my girl. "Is that okay with you, babe?" She asks Macy.
