My heart hadn't stopped racing since the incident. My head constantly felt like it was spinning, and it was oddly difficult to breathe. I was sweating profusely, and images of Ashton coming close to me kept flashing in my mind. They scared me like anything, but spread a weird heat throughout my body, one I couldn't explain. I ran a hand through my hair, and proceeded to wipe my face with my hands. What was going on? The room didn't seem so hot, but there was a weird warmth spreading within my body. It was almost internal, I could feel it under my skin instead of on top of it. Was I falling sick? Catching a fever or something?
A simple knock on my door made me almost jump. I stared at it for a second, before walking over to it. Could it be Alliser? My heart shivered with excitement.
