The door of the room opened, making me freeze up. My heart raced when Jason peeked in, a frown taking over his features.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, stepping in. "Isn't this the new Queen's room? And why are you crying?"
Anger filled me. I stood up, putting the pillow aside as I wiped away the tears.
"She's not the Queen." I walked past him, to leave, but he caught my hand and pulled me back.
"I asked you a question, Isabella. What are you doing here and why are you crying?"
I sniffed, clenching my jaw.
"That's not your business," I said.
"Why you're crying, is. What's wrong?" He stepped in front of me.
"That girl is a liar. She isn't an innocent little human. She's playing my brother, Jason. She loves someone else."
