Marabella's POV
I didn't speak for the whole ride home. I wasn't sure when I fell asleep, but I woke up to Luca picking me up in his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and snuggled into it. "I have a headache", I mumbled, miserably. "Okay, baby. We will take care of it", he whispered, as he took me upstairs.
"Rex, bring me some pain reliever," Luca said lowly, over his shoulder. "Yes sir", I heard him reply. Luca carried me to the room and gently sat me on the bed. His eyes scanned my face, a frown etched onto his handsome face. He slipped my shoes off and walked to the closet to grab me a tshirt.
A knock sounded at the bedroom door as Luca walked out of the closet. I had stood up to go and open the door, but Luca held up a hand to stop me. "I got it, gattina. Sit back down", he
