Marabella's POV
It did not take the doctor long to discharge me, allowing Luca to take me from the hospital. Sergio drove us to the compound, as I was curled up in Luca's arms in the back seat. The drive took about thirty minutes, since Luca's land is so secluded. Sergio took us to the back of the property, straight to the front door of the compound.
Luca climbed out of the back of the car dangerously, the aura he projected was deadly. I, on the other hand, climbed from the vehicle clumsyly. Luca immediately wrapped his arms around me and took the weight off of my leg for me. "Are you sure about this, piccola?", he asked in a murmur. I nodded my head, as I used him as a clutch.
