The tension in the room earlier had grown too thick for Kamala to stick around. Once Deonna fell asleep, she went back to the guest room to get some rest herself. She had no idea who Alex and Petra were but from the sounds of it, they weren’t good wolves.
Then again, who were good wolves around here?
But Alex and Petra were so bad that it nearly gave Deonna a heart attack knowing they weren’t dead.
Part of her wanted to know what she was up against, and she knew there was one person who would be able to tell her. She wasn’t sure why she suddenly felt compelled to reach out to him and get information from him. But she didn’t want to sit around and wait for something serious to happen and not be prepared.
Mateo was sleeping anyways, as was Deonna. Marlon was preoccupied with Deonna.
