I charge toward the alley, fists clenched, heart in my throat as I look at the bastards who have their hands on my mate. My drugged mate. With all of their eyes on me I have the perfect view to watch Hope transform from a sluggish victim to a wildcat. In one move she twists out of their hold, landing in crouch by their feet.
