Lucien's face is close to mine, his frame shielding me from the bullet.
He swallows thickly as he looks at me in the eyes.
I hiss and cuss, his eyes snap on my shoulder, it's bleeding.
Lucien growls and looks up to the two men shooting at us, they are wearing dark costumes.
" You're hurt," he says breathlessly, he opens his car door and shoves me in.
Everything is happening so fast and our attackers are trying to get clear shots.
Lucien opens the other side of the door and gets a gun under his seat. I gasp, he has a gun too!
" Where are you going?" I ask worriedly. Can't he see the chaos!
" Killing those fuckers," he mutters and runs towards the two men who are trying to get shots on us. I inhale and stay still for a while. It's silent.
