"What do you mean 'You think she's in heat'? She's human?" I growl angrily at the doctor.
"My best guess is-"
"You're best guess? You're treating my mate and all you are giving us is your best guess?!" I spit, smashing my hand down on the desk.
I know it's not his fault, but dammit my mate is in pain! I barely register what he's saying, only that marking her could have caused this.
A growl a string of curse words as my wolf pushes closer. I'm vaguely aware of the things I'm breaking in my path.
The lamp, My computer, the pictures all thrown to the floor. My desk, the bookshelf all reduced to piles of wood that are now going to be trash.
