To say that I am confused would be an understatement.
No one speaks, everyone lost in their own minds and I can't help but wonder if everyone is as confused as me. Maybe this Ezra guy is just some rogue with disillusions of grandeur. But no it was Colton who said Ezra was the Alpha.
"I don't understand?" I meant it as a statement but it came out as a confusing question.
Colton snaps out of whatever thought he was in and immediately starts moving.
"Jace, I need you to go find Liam now. Mind-link Ben and August and have them both meet me upstairs in five minutes!" Jace nods, but I hardly see it as Colton grabs my hand and pulls me quickly out of the room towards the elevators.
Small jolts of panic flare within me. I have never seen Colton like this and I honestly hope that I never will
