The judge made his way to his seat, the jury and lawyers bowed down before him, then he returned the bow. It was a clear sign of mutual respect.
"Court is now in section, you may be seated."
The bailiff said...
The court commenced introducing the lawyers and clients... Ava sat to the right, with her hands in her lap ringing her fingers... Hudson placed his hand above her hand to settle her growing nerves... leaning down to whisper something into her ear, while Colleen sat to the left... if I didn't know better I would say that she didn't have a care in the world about any of this...
The look she wore said that she would rather be anywhere but here or was to something to do with Conner, who was seated next to her?
