I gathered all the information on Conner that I could... I needed Ava to see that I was on her side, that I had changed and that she could trust me. At some point, Conner showed himself to me. That is when things started to change for me... I asked myself," Did I want my daughter to be with a man that would do this to his first wife?
If he could so blatantly cheat on his wife, he would do the same thing to her. Mind you, it took me a while to open my eyes to the kind of man that he was... manipulative, cunning and downright unshameful. I had been in similar relationships, thinking that one day he would change for me, that he would eventually leave his wife for me, but that never happened. In the end. I was the one left disappointed, hurt and labeled a w***e.
