The King slumped on the chair next to Alex's bed. Immediately, the doctors left. He didn't want them to see his weak side, but he was really down. So down, looking at his son lying unconscious and obviously in pain!.
" Alex..." he called slowly as tears streamed down his face.
" Please... don't die..." he begged desperately as more tears fell.
Pa Yang wasn't faring any better either, but he still had the hope that Alex wouldn't die anymore.
He didn't know what the bird-like creature did to him though, but he knew whatever it did, it was to save him and make sure he didn't die too, too, and Pa Yang was sure that the creature was successful, as he could feel something powering Alex's heart to beat and giving it some energy flow.
