DECIDED FATE

"Miss...this..." It was a little pup, typically speaking it was a little baby wolf snuggled in the death grass with it's snow white fur covered in a sticky red fluid which was none the less but blood, probably its blood. It's breath wasn't stable and so was its eyes that slowly shut, yet opened up little by little as if to spy at the eyes that had surrounded it. Louisa could tell that its animal instinct told it to attack them and protect itself, but it was barely able to breath, less attack them. "It's a baby wolf!", Ermine exclaimed as soon as she realized what the little thing was actually. "Effectively.". Louisa sighed out the words. "But it's seriously injured, I'm afraid its fate had already been decided." "Its fate, what do you mean 'it's fate' had been decided?", Louisa questioned as if the total comprehension of the words pronounced just now. "Yes, I mean everyone does have his or her fate and this little white beast probably had the fate of death decided upon it." "The fate of death?", Louisa said as soon as Ermine had finished her few words, which there after her brows knitted in a frown. 'Your fate had been decided sis, and it's definitely to die in my hands' The words pronounced by the one she had thought to be her soul mate still rummaged in her brain as if it had been only yesterday she had led out her loud whispers over her vicious tortures. She also spoke about her fate been decided, as if other humans had the right and power to decide over the fate of the other and the weak humans who's fate has been decided could only stand in the watch and let their life drop as the so called 'fate' had decided it. "Fate can be changed.", Louisa said, slightly caressing the white fur who's breathing had become more unstable. "It's not because others say that our fate ends there that we have to just watch it slip off our hands. If we have the power and the opportunity to change, why not change it." Changing fate? Ermine had no idea what Louisa meant by her words, but she guessed her kind hearted miss was just pitiful over the dying white fur that lay almost lifeless on the ground. Perhaps she wished to safe its life, but it was a needless decision and as such risky as the little wolf was a wild beast. "Miss, I'm afraid the life of this beast can't be saved and even if you did save it, your sister would only pile its life to the other lives of pets you once had." It was indeed true Though the memories rushing in her head at that time were blurry and vaguely comprehensive, she could still feel the lingering pain that flashed her each time Yasmine had killed her pets. First it was a bird, that had it's wings plucked out, next was a caged cat that was thrown into the pond by the yard to drown, a castrated dog and a fish roasted. Perhaps even more, but all the animals died a miserable death, even by poisoning. Her 'sisters' were sure vicious and hadn't wished for her happiness. They had even wished for her death, making it a reality fantasy, so what more of the animals. The past Louisa's life was indeed very pitiful and at the and she died not being able to revenge. She wasn't able to revenge, but the Louisa at this moment had no intention of letting things go unpaid and once she deals with everything there, then she could deal with her other step 'sister'. "Anyway miss, it's better that the little beast doesn't survive, at least it escape miss Yasmine's torture to death." Ermine said with a sigh of relief as she looked down at the almost lifeless little thing that made the difference laying on its own pool of blood. "Then...", Ermine was immediately cut off by a call from far by another maid dressed in uniform. "Ermine, can you come over, you're needed." "Miss, I should take my leave now.", Ermine said apologetically then she glanced at the little wolf who hadn't moved even a little bit from its current position. But nothing was a surprise to such reaction, there was probably no life in it. "It's quite pitiful for the little thing, I shall ask someone to give a burial beside the few animals that you had been buried." 'The other animals!', Louisa wouldn't be surprised that the other animals actually had a grave yard to themselves and the little wolf could be added to it, if it indeed died. Louisa looked down at the pup that had turned its eyes fixated on her as if begging for life. Its red eyes were filled with a great will to live and the fierce look of tearing up a flesh, that she hoped might only be the flesh of the one that had causes it so much pain. "You seem to be clinging to life tightly, do you?", Louisa lowered her hand and poked the little thing with curiosity. "What if...." .... "Damn dummy, show your face!" A loud bang kicked Louisa's room open where an obviously furious Yasmine was standing in rage. She tried as hard as she could to look authoritative as she banged Louisa's door opened, only to find her room empty, yet she didn't give up screaming what should be her name and her habitual reference towards Louisa. "Drag your dam body here dummy...Louisa I know you're there, I said come the hell out!" Yasmine said as she became more impatient with every minute and second that hadn't shown Louisa's face and as soon as she gave up and took a long stride towards the bath room to catch Louisa, the door creaked open, with Louisa walking out in a white bath rub, her hair dripping wet. "What have you been doing, didn't you hear me call you just now?", Yasmine yelled as soon as Louisa came out of the bath room unconcerned, she wiping her wet hands with a towel. "Oh, 'sister' was so loud that even a fly at the outskirts of the street would hear the raor." "You...", Yasmine almost burst out of anger , but she soon let it subside as she took a deep breath and exhaled. "Think as you wish, who cares about a dummy's words." "..." "Anyway I'm here for your latest designs, hand them over!", Yasmine ordered, giving Louisa no choice but to accept to her request no matter if she agreed or not. The former Louisa would have handed them for fear of being bullied, but she was no longer that frail Louisa so she walked passed Yasmine, sitting on a couch and crossed her slender white leg before leaning her head on her hand that had its elbow on the armrest of the couch. "Sister seems quite authoritative in that tone. But I'll like to understand one thing, was that just an order ?" "What .", Yasmine abruptly exclaimed as soon as her gaze caught that of Louisa looking at hers firmly and void of any fear, but dominance. This wasn't how it supposed to have been, things were definitely on the wrong track. Yasmine thought "....
