THROUGH THE SCHEMES OF FATE

WASN'T SHE ALWAYS WEAK

"Are you serious?", Yasmine questioned one of the maids who had been implanted as her spy to watch out any scene or situation that couldn't catch her eyes. In normal terms she would have simply made use of Ermine who was assigned by Annie to look after Louisa as a personal maid. But after her last betrayal Ermine suddenly became loyal to Louisa and there was nothing she could use to pull her back on her side.

It would have been easy if she could make the girl kneeling in front of her, work directly under Louisa as a replacement to Ermine. It should have normally been the case if Louisa had followed the normal reaction of one who had been betrayed by her most trusted personal maid. But ever since Louisa woke up from her three months coma that should have eventually lead to death after poisoning, the changes on her were obvious.

She had always been an opaque glad and an easily bullied girl, but she drastically changed, as if her body had been possessed. It would have been very easy to deal with her if she was that stupid girl of the past, but it wasn't the case. Yasmine felt her blood boiling each time she thought of her every failed plans against Louisa. So obviously she would lack no opportunity to scheme against her, but as her sister had said she needed to maintain a clean image and an innocent appearance when deal in with her enemies.

~Yasmine took a deep breath and exhaled through her slightly opened mouth. She turned her back on the maid who was still kneeling behind her. Her focus was on brushing her hair neatly, but she she didn't fail to inquire more about the incident at the internal kitchen.

"Tell me more."

"Well, actually, Head Susan heard that Lady Louisa wanted to use the kitchen so she immediately went over and only found Ermine. Head Susan had already beaten up Ermine when Lady Louisa arrived and....."

The maid kept on recounting about the event that had earlier happened in the central kitchen. Though she hadn't been there personally, she heard the complete story from the girls who had accompanied head maid Susan. The story of Louisa beating up head maid Susan and causing her to kneel and tremble in front of her actually spread like wild fire. It was sure that Head maid Susan had lost face and her authority to Louisa.

"Are you making everything up?"

"I dare not my lady!, she fell flat unto the floor with fear of enraging Yasmine who was basically a fiercer version of Susan. Though from the outside she looked kind and gentle, Yasmine was full of a fierce arrogance and she as a maid with no power had suffered in her hands, but she had no choice but t obey her or dig her grave.

"How are you going to explain that someone like Louisa with a poor body constitution was able to beat that old geezer to the point causing her to wet in her pants in fear as she rushed out of the external kitchen."

The maid explained, but Yasmine couldn't believe a person as skinny and weak as Louisa had actually caused such a harm.

'Wasn't she always weak?'

She indeed had a weak constitution and as long as there was cold she will automatically have a fever, but didn't seem to be the case anymore. However, she still couldn't explain what methods she used against Susan to bring in so much fear in her. She had always been pretty scared of Susan to the point of losing her voice and Yasmine mostly enjoyed this moment of fear in her eyes.

She didn't even need to dirty her hands in order to watch Louisa suffer, head maid Susan was enough and she could only watch the show in the gazebo or simply relax in her room and make Louisa her maid.

Everything was so easy in the past, but the situation suddenly overturned with Louisa's sudden change of personality. Yasmine gritted her teeth, chewing on her nails as she thought of the humiliation she got from her.

"Regardless of how she was able to defeat Susan on her grounds. She made a serious error by doing so."

"Yes my lady, Susan is the child to madam's old maid , so by doing so lady Louisa caused trouble for herself, once the madam knows about it...."

Yasmine immediately cut her off, waving her to stop blabbering a running her mouth when she had yet been given the order to do so.

"You don't need to bother my ears , you can leave now."

"As you wish my lady.", the maid hurried to leave as she had been ordered, but without failing to give a sneer at the door as she walked out. If it wasn't for the fact that Yasmine had paid her quite much for her spying at home and she needed to remain employed at the Woods, she surely would have left long ago.

Perhaps it was better to be employed at Louisa's side as a personal maid. Though she was dumb and stupid in the past, today she proved the contrary.

~ The maid sighed

While at this moment, Yasmine was filing her nails but her mine went towards the graft designs owned by Louisa. Right from birth she hated that talent that Louisa had, she had even threatened to break her hands, but had to keep calm because the graft designs she drew was her step towards fame.

But things were getting tough now that Louisa had proven to be wiser than ever. In the past she would easily get Why she wished from her, but today it was practically almost impossible.

"Humph, just a dummy who's trying to become a swan. I can't believe I can't defeat you.", Yasmine harrumphed, tossing the nail filler away.

"I still have my resources and I'll make you surely bow to me. ", Yasmine declared with a vicious smile as she played with her hair.

"I'll definitely outshine you.....
