 It's actually really stupid, and it's actually all very poorly thought out. I didn't know how much magic I possessed, and I certainly didn't know whether I would get to see Nico. The lobby would be crowded with paparazzi, gossip news vans parked outside his hotel like crouching gargoyles, eager for just a taste of his fame and fortune, just little teases of news.  So, I did the fastest fridge stock known to man (and wolf). It wasn't a lot. I couldn't afford a lot. The used fridge didn't have much capacity, either. I could hardly fit inside it, "walk in" was almost a joke. But it meant that after working on my signage, I could escape to the hotel garden, and so I did.
