I stare blankly at my reflection, dressed in white, a sparkling crown on my head and... looking like a Queen instead of the Commander that I am. I should be quicker to adapt to all of this. I’ve been in worse situations, but seeing myself in this way still takes me by surprise.
Life has changed. And it wasn’t just my title. It is everything.
I have basically lost almost everyone.
Everyone I knew, everyone I thought meant something to me… either wanted me dead or was working with the people that wanted me dead. In a span of hours, I lost my twin brother, my best friend and the cousins I thought I was close to.
