“Goodbye, Sin.” I almost didn’t hear him. I almost didn’t understand— The chain around my neck is suddenly pulled forward until I am flung against his shoulder. It was the same way we started; with me dangling on his shoulders. The irony of it was enough to make me forget the fear. I hold on for dear life, grasping his skin with my fingers as the world around us passes by quickly, leaving dust at his feet and with branches slapping against us. It’s as if my world is spinning, and it will only stop after my death. So hold on to the sickening feeling of pain and nausea. And fear. He’s rushing, almost running at full speed, not even glancing back to look at me like he used to do before. He must be so ready to get this over with. I do not blame him. I also wanted this done. But
