I was in my father’s office. Diamonds decorated this room completely, from the tables, to the chairs, to the couches and the curtains, even the hearth had diamonds in them. Tall white marble pillars ingrained with gold were all around me, making everything look grand and full of luster, as if it wasn't already. But the luxury didn’t stop there as granite floors embedded with gems sparkled at my feet, making every part of his office s c r e a m with opulence. Like everything else in our lives, my father spared no expense. He has always been the type of man that wants only the best. My father paced in front of me, standing tall and looking as perfect as always. My father is a man obsessed with himself, having made sure nothing is ever out of place. Every strand of hair, every movement of
