We said we will be staying only for lunch. However, due to Lily’s insistence to have us stay up to dinner, Alex and I gave in. She said we had been far away from home too long.
Home.
That’s a nice word to hear. I didn’t have a home for a long time.
There must be something in my facial expression that have alerted Alex, because what he said to me next was very heartwarming.
“You’re my home, as I am yours, baby.” He whispered into my ear before kissing my temple and holding my waist.
“Thanks, babe.” I stood in front of him and gave him a loving embrace, my head resting on his chest.
I had started to call him ‘babe’. I can’t exactly call him ‘daddy’ when someone can hear me, right?
“Aww… aren’t they so sweet, Andrew, honey?” Lily clasped both her hands and smiled looking
