Alex POV
I have been working out for an hour, but my body is not really cooperating with me. Much more my mind. I went to the gym, which gives me a good view of the swimming pool, not really to work out, but to spy on Chanel and John.
We had breakfast earlier and Chanel was excited to hit the waters. She said that this will be her first time to bask on the sun this summer.
And that hit me to the core. I want to be the cause of her excitement and happiness and to be there to share moments with her. I want to be the main person in her life.
“Alex, son, you’ve been here for an hour and you have not dropped a sweat.” Alex walked towards me.
