Forty-Five: Zaan Pulfer             It had been one day since we’d sent Catesby and Crimson back into Castle Lupine. One day, and I was already out of my mind. “I can feel her,” I said. We were in The High Priestesses tent. My Mother was supposed to be teaching me to scry, so was The High Priestess. But the minute that Crimson was gone I had been overcome with terror. Then I started coughing, and then the blood came up.             “She’s having an attack!” I shouted as I coughed. My mother got me a handkerchief, and I used it to wipe the blood. “I don’t understand. I’ve never felt her like this before. I’ve lived in the same village as her my whole life. Why is this happening now?”             “There was a block before,” said The High Priestess.             “A block?” I frowned.
