Overseer Sorina stood next to me. “You’re right. But what are you planning to do? Reveal that you, also, did something to her? That won’t be good for either of you.”
I hated this. I hated watching Raoul up there making pronouncements about the girl that wasn’t his mate. I knew it in my bones. “But she’s missing,” I said, “and he somehow found out. And he is using this to his advantage. We have to go looking for her.”
“It will cause more of a stir if you actually go after her.”
