Raoul has moved into the Ashland home. It has been a week, and there is no sign that he is coming back to Castle Lupine for the rest of the season. But somehow, I need to break up the two of them. Or at least know what they were up to. I had spent my days in the tavern, drinking, and trying to come up with a plan. Which is exactly how Overseer Sorina found me when she came to me again. She made a face, her blue eyes glaring at me in displeasure.
“I gave you a mission, and this is what you’re doing?” she said.
I hiccupped. “What do you expect me to do? I send that bloody f*****g Hunter to their house and still, nothings happened. She’s been recovering from being sick, and they’re there, together.”
“See, that was your mistake,” she said.
