The spell worked, and I woke up in the middle of the savannah, my previous home, with the bright moon shining in the sky. When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was Naya. She hadn't changed a thing; her golden eyes were the same as mine, reminding me that she was the one who had saved me once.
"You are looking for the truth, aren't you?" She asked as she stepped closer.
"You and I have lived together for a long time. You know me, and I know that you have been checking up on me, meaning that you also know what is going on down there," I replied, to which she nodded.
I knew a lot about the afterlife, so I was sure that Naya was aware of everything that had happened, including me leaving the shifters alone.
