"I'm William, and you are?" He asked softly.
"I am Amanda," I said with the biggest smile on my face.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart as William, my mate, stepped closer. His presence was overwhelming, a blend of strength and charisma that weakened my knees. Despite the initial scowl, his expression had softened, and he offered me a warm but cautious smile.
"Amanda," he repeated, his voice sending shivers down my spine. "It's a pleasure to meet you." His voice was so deep that it made me lose my concentration.
"Likewise," I managed to reply, my voice trembling slightly. I felt the pull of the mate bond, an irresistible force drawing me towards him.
"Let me show you around," William suggested, extending his hand.
