I stared at my wife who was laying on bed without saying a word. Her heart was racing despite her not moving, and seeing as the fireplace was lighting up and shutting off at a random pattern, I knew that it was due to her anger.
I could tell that her mind was racing with a number of thoughts that broke both her and I, and giving her the privacy that she needed, I made sure not to intervene or read her mind so as to know what she was thinking.
I walked to her side, sitting on the edge of the bed. I ran my finger over her shoulder, removing her hair from her shoulder and face, looking her in the eye. Natalia kept her eyes closed as she stopped her tears from falling, not wanting me to see her cry.
“Nat, baby girl, you can’t block everything in” I whispered to her. Natalia hugge
