Delilah's POV I jolted awake with a gasp that tore from my throat as my heart hammered against my ribs. Morning sunlight streamed through my window while birds chirped outside and my alarm beeped insistently on my nightstand, but none of that registered at first because I was trying to understand how I'd gotten here. I was in my bed. But I'd been in the bathtub. I sat up quickly and looked down at myself with confusion turning to ice-cold dread in my stomach. I was wearing my pajamas, the soft cotton pants and oversized t-shirt I always slept in, but I had no memory of putting them on.
