I felt goosebumps break out across the expanse of my skin, and I couldn’t help but shiver as the ice slid down my chest. She had planned out her attack in a manner that I had to admire, for the snowball had crashed into the space where my neck met with the collar of the shirt that she had provided me with—which effectively resulted in the spray of cold ice going into my shirt. I pulled the shirt away from my body, and I stood in a rather awkward manner, waiting for it all to drop to the ground. In the process of waiting, my eyes found their way back to Blair, who was standing a few steps farther away than she had been when she had thrown the offending object at me. I would have interpreted it as a sign of fear, but the smile that she seemed to be fighting off led me to think differently.
