“That’s going to be a hard pass.”
Tobias was serious, and he was about ready to bolt out of the place when Rush had pulled him down. There was a question printed into his face, and much more when he saw that his mate seemed to be serious about this. A part of him was hurt to this, knowing that there is a possibility that she would offer her first child.
“We have promised your brother that we would not deal with her,” Tobias muttered, reminding her of what is important. “A lot of people could help us, we do not need to put your first born into this issue.”
Rush had looked at him in panic. “No, if she is asking for a life… then that means that her answer would save another. Someone will die in the palace.”
