WITH a smile on her face, Riley climbed the bed where her mate was.
Her hair was still wet from the shower.
After she toweled-dry her hair, she immediately joined her mate in bed.

Akiku put the book down. It was a recipe book on pastries.
As of late, her knowledge of baking has been put to the test. Her experiments went to the mouths of her beloved’s elite team who were kind enough to tell her that her cooking had been on the salty side.
“Yes.” Her brow raised when she noticed the grin on her beloved’s face.

Riley picked up the book. She placed it under the lampshade on Akiku’s side of the bed.

“I already know what’s on your mind.” She placed her palm on the alpha’s face before pushing it gently.
