IRRITATION painted Akiku’s face when she was pushed. She glared at the person who did. Her brows knotted when the man gave her a smirk.
“Sit.” He ordered.
Akiku did not argue. She settled her ass on the couch. The all too familiar settee at the Alpha’s office.
She and Riley made out in this very seat far too many times. Even Zoey had caught them a lot of times.
Fifteen minutes after Riley left the Monitoring room, unfamiliar men entered. At a moment’s notice, she easily recognized that they were vampires.
Out of the four men, two were newborns.
They were twitching. One of the signs of being a newborn vampire was the twitch in their movements. It was due to the inclination to move.
Since they have the unnatural ability to move very fast, they tend to twitch trying to control the
