"You didn't give her the memory card?" Emily asked after Kyra went to check on her cousin.
I walked over and placed the memory card on the coffee table before sitting down. Emily watched me carefully.
"If you had died today, my wife would blame herself for not stopping you. Especially since you only went to save her cousin."
