CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE CAT FIGHT THEO’S POV There is something rather embarrassing I’d like to admit. Well, I’m not quite sure embarrassing would be the right word for it but I’m certain that’s the one my father would use if he were to hear me utter this admission out loud. I hate school. I abhor the very idea of my existence being determined by a curriculum made by someone else as a standard on whether I qualify for a good job in the future or not. It’s not the students who go here that I don’t like. No. It’s the pressure of studying all for the sole reason of making it. The pressure of spending nights buried in books is already jarring enough.
