Zyra POV I shouldn’t still be standing here and that’s the first thing that hits me. I should’ve just walked away the second this conversation started going in circles, the second he started looking at me it was like I’m something he’s trying to figure out instead of someone he should leave alone. I turn, adjusting the strap of my bag on my shoulder, and take a step forward and his hand slams against the tree in front of me.
