A little while after Anne left, Zala sat down in her room to continue a book she’d left on the bookshelf for way too long. It didn’t take that long for a knock to sond on her balcony. Zala grinned sheepishly behind her book as her heat did that fast thumping it did whenever Kevoy was concerned.
