Orpheus felt unprecedented relief when Zala’s parents left. It wasn’t that he feared them. It was simply because they were Zala’s parents that he was a little bit nervous. After all, it was the first time meeting anyone’s parents; not that he’d had lovers before.
He perked his ears and listened to them leaving.
