Orpheus followed along through the palace. He wasn’t sure where they were going but seeing her so excited about whatever she was going to surprise him with made him swell with pride. The fact that whatever it was that she was going to do had anything to do with him was sensational.
“How far are we going to go?” He asked after they had walked for a while and they were still walking. The palace was ridiculously big, he had to give them that. He’d never been a fan of wide, and open spaces. He preferred to be in smaller rooms. It made him feel less lonely. It had been that way since he was a juvenile.
