“You scared me there.” Zala blew out a breath but ignored the clear question in Anne’s gaze. Strangely enough, she wanted to keep that part of Orpheus’s spell to herself. She’d usually blurt out whatever she wanted to Anne and tell her things that even her parents didn’t know. But this time, she wanted to keep this to herself. She wanted to keep him to herself. That line of thought had her backtracking for a moment and frowning. “I think I’m just a little short of losing my mind,” Zala whispered to herself. “Obviously,” Anne muttered, grinned, and ignored the way Zala’s gaze bore into her head. “What are you doing?
