Zala didn’t know when she fell asleep, but she probably had too much to drink seeing as she woke up to a nasty headache at dawn. She couldn’t remember the last time she woke up before sunrise but her head was throbbing too much to just stay in bed. She winced when she moved and it hurt all the more. She wasn’t in the mood to listen to any complaints her mom would make if she found out that she drank so much so she slipped out of bed. There was a magic lamp in her room which gave it some brightness but she couldn’t see well so she called forth a ball of light to illuminate her way better as she left her room barefoot.
