"Burn it all," Michael spat, looking at the empty cardboard box. "Burn every single thing she touched. Maybe then you will finally become a real man." He turned around and limped away down the hallway. I closed the heavy door and locked it. My chest was heaving with heavy breaths. I hate him, but he was right about one thing. I needed to pack her things away. I walked over to her large wooden closet. My hands were shaking terribly as I reached out and touched the soft fabric of her favorite blue dress. I pulled it off the hanger and gently folded it. Tears instantly blurred my vision. It was so painful. Every piece of clothing felt like a heavy stone. I packed her dresses, her soft sweaters, and her small shoes into the brown box. I packed her favorite books and her hairbrush. Final
