Selena’s POV
I was standing in the kitchen washing my coffee mug, when I heard heavy footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw Theo. He looked incredibly strong, handsome, and every bit the powerful Alpha but his eyes softened when he looked at me.
"Good morning," He smiled gently.
"Good morning," I replied, grabbing a towel to dry my hands. "Are you going to the pack house?"
"Not the pack house," Theo explained, taking a step closer. "Today is the first day of the new month. It's a very old tradition in the Sirius Pack. Every month, the Alpha walks through the pack and visits the pack members in their own homes. I check on the families, see if they have enough food for the winter, and listen to any problems they might have."
