Vasilios told me he’d go to work, which was a photo shoot of some kind, I believe. So, I told him he didn’t have to drive me to the office. I arrived late, and it was kind of weird. The people threw weird glances at me. I wondered what it was all about. Luke, on the other hand, gave me a helpless look. He came up to me and told me to just ignore my officemates.
“Besides, these people don’t know who you really are just as you requested since you came to work with us.” His tone was hushed. “But… I begin to think the others already heard about you. Who knows if the whole company already does after the police took you in for questioning the last time because of Julie’s antics?”
