After three weeks
“Angel, I am leaving for New York tomorrow morning for some business meetings. You can come with me to the high school and you can also see your parents. We both will go to your parents’ house and then I will drop you at the high school. But, I have to leave for the meetings, angel. Promise me that you will be careful on the way back to my office?” Xavier took me to his lap and wrapped his arms around me.
“I promise that, baby. Don’t worry.” I kissed his forehead.
“My mind is telling me not to send you alone, but I don’t have any option. This meeting is compulsory. Mason and Justin are not coming along because they are busy with packhouse duties and training. I will send you my best warriors, you will be safe with them,” H
