CHAPTER 34 – Saving her
Xavier’s POV
I fell asleep nuzzling her neck, her scent made me and Loki calm. We were having one of the best slumbers in our life with our mates. She stirred in sleep from time to time, at first I woke up to check on her that if she needed anything but each time I did, she was sleeping soundly. So, later on, I adjusted myself to her stirring, continuing to sleep. Sometimes, she slept on my chest, sometimes she wraps her legs around my torso or sleeps on my hand. Every time I would kiss her cheeks and her forehead but I didn’t want to kiss her pink lips, I wanted to taste them with her being completely conscious.
“Wake up! Our mate is in danger!” I heard Loki growl out of the blue.
