It was nearly two in the morning. Lita knew she was drunk and had imbibed far more than she should have but Arwen had let know Isabella they were out and she’d pulled Cat, Tuva, and Isabella’s sister Amelia.
They’d wound up in a club not far from Amelia’s house and had learned it was ladies’ night. The drinks were cheap, strong, and plentiful.
Ben had shown up near midnight and had insisted he and his team were going to make sure Lita and her friends got home safe because they still couldn’t track Della. Lita had been watching the way he watched Isabella’s sister and pointed it out to all the girls but Amelia
